•All Nying Zemo rugs are hand-knotted in Nepal. Our weavers use a hand-knotting technique called Senna, which is a form of Tibetan traditional art. •Every step of the process, from sorting, carding, spinning, dyeing, weaving, washing and packaging is hand made in our workshop in Nepal. •Rugs may vary slightly due to this process, which means every rug produced is unique. •Nying Zemo rugs are made using long-fibered Tibetan highland wool which has softness, luster and flexibility. It is the finest wool available. •Completion of a rug is subject to size, knot count, and design complexity. It can take 12-20 weeks. •Nying Zemo's design team can help you create original custom designs to fit your decorating needs. •Our rugs are usually made with Swiss dyes. Natural dyes are also available. •Standard sizes are 4 x 6 (feet) – 12 x 14 (feet). Custom sizes are available.. •Rugs range between 100 to 200 knots per square inch. •Nying Zemo rugs are produced with eco-effective friendly methods.
